Threats and Abuse Against Doctors- A Discussion

The increasing incidence of threats and attacks on doctors and other healthcare professionals (HCPs) has spurred the need for complete attention to HCPs' safety. According to the latest regulations released by the National Medical Council, any abusive and violent behavior by a patient can be documented and reported by the doctor, who can then choose not to proceed with treatment and make the necessary referrals.
