Dear Dr. Renukaprasad A R,  Dry eye disease (DED), a common ocular surface disorder, results from the insufficient production of tears. It is a chronic multifactorial condition that leads to ocular discomfort, fatigue, visual disturbance, and, ultimately, reduced quality of life (QoL).
